I did this, but am still getting the same responses. Other random thought(s): How badass would it be if the lock could use my cellular Apple Watch to auto-unlock TLDR: Easy. Reboot both the watch and the phone, and then add the lock back in Homekit and the app back on the watch. Fortunately, all of these are resolved with the August Wi-Fi Smart Lock. They asked me to remove the app from the watch, and remove the lock from Homekit. His presentation highlighted vulnerabilities in Augusts first- and second-generation smart locks via live demonstration, claims we reported on as part of a larger piece on lock security on August. I keep emailing them over and over and have sent my logs to them a few times, but thus far no resolution. I put a ticket in through August in September for this issue. The lock, watch and iPhone are all running the latest firmware. The lock works perfectly when using siri through the iPhone. However lately when asking to lock through the watch, I get the response that it could not find my lock, or it will lock but takes about 20 seconds and then Siri responds she didn't hear back from the lock and I may want to check it. I could walk out the door, ask Siri to lock the door from my Apple Watch and the lock would respond very quickly. I have had my August 3rd Gen for quite some time now and have been extremely happy with it. This wireless smart lock provides access 4 different ways via your smartphone (iOS and Android), an Apple Watch, an August Keypad.
